UAE weather: Misty mornings and hazy days ahead

It was a foggy and misty start on Monday with cloud and hazy conditions set to continue for the next two days.

Mist covered Al Rawais, Al Samaha and Liwa regions on Monday, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, who said cloud cover will intensify over the east with chances of rainfall.

It will still be hot and humid at night and during the early morning across the coast with light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times during the afternoon over some exposed areas.

Temperatures across the country will continue to be "hot in general", with highs reaching 41°C and 45°C inland, and range between 38°C and 42°C along the coast, and between 32°C and 36°C in the mountains.

Humidity levels would increase at night and in the morning over the coastal areas while the maximum humidity will be between 60 to 90 per cent across coastal regions, between 50 to 80 per cent in internal areas and 30 to 50 per cent in the mountains.
 
Seas will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate may become rough at times during the morning to northward of the Sea of Oman.
