Light rain was falling over Fujairah Airport on Wednesday morning, and clouds were expected to spread over northern and eastern areas of the UAE throughout the day.
Weather officials said conditions would be cold to very cold at night and early Thursday.
At midnight, the temperature will drop to 18 degrees Celsius and to 14 degrees by 5 am.
On Wednesday morning it reached 17 degrees at 7 am, but temperatures are expected to rise to 23 degrees by noon.

Fast winds and a rough sea are expected, with the wind reaching up to 45 km/hr and waves reaching up to 2.1 metres.
