UAE weather: Humidity creeps up to 90%

Humidity returned in earnest on Friday morning reaching 90 per cent with hot and hazy conditions to persist for the rest of the day.

Clouds could form over eastern and southern areas during the afternoon and may be associated with some rainfall.

Light to moderate winds, reaching 38kph at times inland, will cause dusty patches over some exposed areas.

Humidity will increase at night and during the morning over the coastal and interior regions along with fog and mist especially westward.

Temperatures will range from 27°C to 48°C in the interior regions, 28°C to 45°C along the coast and 25°C to 39°C in the mountains.

The maximum humidity will be between 65 to 90 per cent across coastal, 55 to 80 per cent over internal areas, and between 35 to 60 per cent in the mountains.

The sea will continue to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

The lowest temperature recorded over the country today morning was 24.6°C in Jebel Jais at 6:30am.
