UAE weather: Fresh winds whip up dust
National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology warns of poor visibility less than 2000 metres.
Forecasters warned that fresh winds will whip up dust this morning, resulting in visibility to be reduced to less 2000 metres in some areas.
Hazy and cloudy conditions are set to continue over the next two days with the cloud cover increasing in eastern areas with chances of rainfall, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology
Light rainfall was recorded yesterday in Asimah, Shees, Nahwa and Dibba Al Fujairah.
Temperatures across the country will continue to be "hot to very hot", with highs reaching 44°C and 49°C in interior areas, and range between 42°C and 46°C along the coast, and between 31°C and 39°C in the mountains.
Humidity levels would increase at night and in the morning over the coastal areas while the maximum humidity will be between 60 to 85 per cent across coastal regions, between 40 to 60 per cent in internal areas and 20 to 40 per cent in the mountains.
Seas will be moderate during the day in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, but will become rough by night.
