UAE weather: Fresh winds and rough seas
Very rough conditions in the Arabian Gulf with two-metre waves offshore
Forecasters issued a warning to seafarers on Friday with strong winds rough seas in the Arabian Gulf.
Two-metre waves are expected offshore.
On land, the weather will be fair to partly cloudy throughout the weekend. Dusty conditions are expected with moderate winds will churn up sand in some parts of the country. North-westerly winds of 16kph to 28kph are expected to sweep across the country, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
Temperatures will range from 23°C to 40°C inland, 24°C to 37°C along the coast and 18°C 35°C in the mountains.
Humidity levels could reach a high of 80 per cent.
Some rain lashed some parts of the country on Friday, including Nahil area in Al Ain, Sweihan in Abu Dhabi.
