UAE weather: Forecasters warn of rough sea conditions

The weather will be mostly fine on land today, but at sea it will be quite a different story - with warnings of rough seas and turbulent conditions.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology warned of a rough Oman Sea from 3am this morning until 5pm today.

Otherwise, the sky will be partly cloudy, with clouds expected to increase over eastern and western areas.

Relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early morning over some internal areas, with the chance of mist formation.

On Friday, the winds will be tame, the weather will be fair to partly cloudy and the Oman Sea will be moderate again. However, the waters of the Arabian Gulf could become rough.

The weather conditions are expected to be similar on Saturday.
