Motorists have been warned of poor visibility on the roads around Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah due to  fog.

Visibility was reduced to less than 1,000 metres in some parts on Thursday, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology.

Misty weather covered Al Maktoum Airport and Dubai Airport while patches of fog were recorded over Abu Dhabi and Sharjah airports.

Cloudy and hazy conditions should form along the eastern coast with light to moderate winds freshening at times during noon with the sea turning rough in the Arabian Gulf.

Humidity will increase at night and in the morning

Temperatures will range from 19°C to 39°C in the interior regions, 20°C to 38°C along the coast, 18°C to 30°C in the mountains.

The maximum humidity will be 80 to 90 per cent across coastal regions, between 60 to 95 per cent in internal areas and 30 to 50 per cent in the mountains.
