Some fog caused poor visibility in some parts of the country in the early hours of Thursday morning, according to the National Centre for Meteorology,
From 6.45am to 9.30am, visibility was reduced in and around the city of Abu Dhabi, Al Bateen Airport, Al Shawamekh area, Abu Dhabi International Airport, as well as in Fujairah and over coastal areas of Abu Dhabi.
Mist also formed around the Dubai area, stretching to Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, with visibility reduced to less than 1,000 metres in some areas, and between 1,000 to 3,000 metres in others, with low clouds over scattered regions.

The centre advised motorists to drive carefully, or pull over until visibility improved.
After the fog clears, the weather is expected to be fair in general and hazy at times with a rise in temperature. According to the centre, humidity will increase in the evening and early Friday morning over some coastal areas, with fog and mist formation. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea would be slight to moderate.
