The UAE woke up once again to a dusty weather this morning, which is expected to continue until 8pm tonight, causing poor visibility that is less than 1,500 metres at times.
Weather officials declared a “beware” status for outdoor and beach activities.
Wind speeds will reach 50kph, while conditions in the Arabian Gulf will be rough with waves reaching up to two metres. The temperature in Abu Dhabi at 10:39 on Friday reached 40°C with 25% humidity.
In the week ahead, the weather will continue to be hot and hazy.
On Saturday, cloud cover will increase and showers could fall in the afternoon in the south and the east.
Winds will reach up to 45kph, and may also cause blowing dust . Seas will have calmed down in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Residents can enjoy a drop in temperatures on Sunday and some clouds will appear over the mountains.
Humidity will increase on Monday, especially in the north, causing mist and fog in the morning.
Tuesday morning will also be humid.
