Dubai was engulfed in heavy fog this morning, reducing visibility in many areas.
The National Centre for Meteorology said parts of the emirate would have visibility of less than 1 kilometre until 8.30am today.

For most of the country, Tuesday is expected to be sunny, if sometimes hazy.
The National Centre for Meteorology forecasts temperatures in Abu Dhabi to range from 31°C to 43°C, and in Dubai from 27°C to 41°C.
High winds may also cause dust storms, reducing visibility further over exposed areas.
Meanwhile, humidity in parts of the country could reach as high as 90 per cent. Sea conditions are expected to be rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in the Sea of Oman.
