Abu Dhabi and Dubai's peak temperatures will dip under 40 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, with some cloud cover and humidity over northern areas in the morning.
The two cities are forecast to experience maximum temperatures of 39°C. Clouds will build over the mountainous region by the afternoon.
Fujairah will have a maximum of 37°C, while the mountain region will enjoy the coolest temperatures, at 31°C.
The cloudy conditions are expected to remain over much of the UAE for the rest of the week.
