The UAE is set for a cloudy and rainy Wednesday, with showers expected over islands, coastal, northern and eastern areas of the country.

Moderate south-easterly winds, becoming northwesterly later in the day, will cause dust storms, resulting in poor visibility for drivers, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

Temperatures could reach 26°C in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai, the National Centre of Meteorology said.

Conditions will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, but seas may become rough as clouds pass over them later in the day.

The rain is expected to continue until Sunday.
