High humidity and temperatures from the high 30s to the mid-40s are set to continue across the UAE into Wednesday.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi are expected to experience humidity levels at the upper limit of 85 and 72 per cent, slightly lower than recent days but not offering a great deal of respite.

The National Centre of Meteorology forecast some areas of cloud but it will be mainly sunny.

A light to moderate wind blowing from the south-east to the north-east may offer a little refreshment.

In Dubai lows of 31°C and highs of 44°C have been predicted. In Abu Dhabi temperatures of 32°C to 45°C should be expected.

Cloud is most likely in the east and south of the UAE, with moderate sea conditions predicted in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Moving into Thursday, across the country some cloud and haze is predicted with a fresh south-easterly wind possibly kicking up a little dust.
