The rain and heavy winds that battered the UAE on Monday looked set to subside on Tuesday.
But clouds are expected to remain, especially over eastern and south-eastern areas, the National Centre of Meteorology said.
Winds will be moderate and lighter than at the start of the week, the weather bureau said, but there could be gusts of up to 40kmph in mountain regions.

Abu Dhabi and Dubai will have top temperatures of 38°C and humidity levels will reach 70 per cent.
In some parts of the country, particularly in coastal regions, humidity levels are expected to hit as high as 80 per cent, it added.
Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Drivers in Dubai at the start of the week were forced to contend with low visibility and hazardous road conditions as pools of water formed on highways throughout the emirate.
There was no escape from the extreme weather, even for Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai.
Sheikh Hamdan posted a video of himself navigating his way through the rain while out driving.
