UAE weather: coastal areas could hit 40s

Sun will dominate with some clouds, as coastal areas reach into the 40s on Thursday.

Abu Dhabi and Dubai will again expect maximum temperatures of 39°C and 38°C. Along the coast temperatures could hit 42°C.

The National Centre of Meteorology said Thursday would be fair and partly cloudy over scattered areas.

There will be light to moderate winds, freshening at times, blowing dust during daytime.

Humidity is set to reach 75 per cent on the coast and 70 per cent inland.

Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
