Weather conditions in Dubai on Saturday will be mostly sunny but with a chance of light rain showers in the late afternoon.
Temperatures are predicted to hit 31°C in the afternoon, with winds of up to 21kph bringing light rain in the early evening.
The National Centre of Meteorology is warning that moderate winds could pick up sand.
The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of light winds, partial cloud and a chance of some showers.
Peak temperatures are expected to be slightly warmer, hitting 32°C, and there is a chance of showers shortly before midday.
However, lighter breezes of only 14kph will provide less relief from the muggy conditions, and humidity is expected to pick up again on Saturday night.
Rain showers could also return in the late evening.
