UAE weather: chance of rain across the country
It follows heavy rain yesterday that resulted in flash flooding in Ras Al Khaimah
There will be a risk of rain across the UAE today as cloud builds across parts of the country.
It follows heavy rain over some areas yesterday, including Ras Al Khaimah, which resulted in flash flooding in Wadi Qor. Media reported that two drivers had to be rescued and another was still missing last night.
Rain also fell in the area around Dubai International Airport during the evening.
Today, winds will be light to moderate, picking up at times which could blow dust over exposed areas, according to forecasters at the National Centre for Meteorology.
Temperatures will range between 33°C and 38°C on the coast during the day, dropping to between 25°C and 29°C at night. It will be slightly warmer inland during the day, where temperatures will range from 34°C to 39°C. It will drop to 23°C to 26°C at night.
Humidity will reach a high of 90 per cent on the coast and 85 per cent inland.
Waves will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
