Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed met with a number of heads of state who are in the UAE to attend Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, which starts on Monday.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces received the President of Angola, Joao Lourenco, the President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, and the President of Mauritania, Mohammed Ould Abdel Aziz, on Sunday.
More heads of state are expected in the capital for, in particular, the World Future Energy Summit, which starts on Tuesday and is part of a busy programme of events scheduled for ADSW.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Angola's Mr Lourenco discussed co-operation between the two countries in economic, trade and investment.
The Angolan President praised the significance of ADSW as it attracts the cream of the world's energy experts, technology pioneers and the next generation of sustainability leaders.
Uganda's Mr Museveni discussed friendship and co-operation, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.

The UAE and Uganda previously signed a deal to establish one of the world's only agricultural free zones.
The 2,500-hectare free zone will allow private companies from the UAE to invest in agricultural production and development in Uganda in an attempt to enhance food security in the Emirates
With Mauritania's Mr Aziz, Sheikh Mohamed discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest, as well as ways to enhance bilateral ties.
They witnessed the signing of a US$25 million (Dh92m) agreement between the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and Mauritania's Deposit and Development Fund to support entrepreneurs and develop small- and medium-sized enterprises.

The WFES is an annual event held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohamed that is dedicated to advancing future energy, energy efficiency and clean technologies.
