Rain swept across eastern regions of the country on Saturday, with the likelihood of wet weather extending across coastal areas.
Wadis flooded with water in Fujairah and Khor Fakkan and residents stopped off highways to take photographs of swollen paths gushing with water.
The centre posted videos of embankments filling with rain water and streams flowing down hilly regions.

Fresh south-easterly winds with speeds touching 40 kilometres an hour were forecast by the centre.
Poor visibility is also expected in internal, coastal areas as well as in western and central regions of the country.
With temperatures picking up across the country, the weather centre said humidity would continue to rise in the evenings.
