The emirate's municipality is encouraging the pubic to participate in November's clean up campaign which attracted millions worldwide last year.
Dubai residents urged to 'Clean up the World'
Dubai Municipality is urging the public to take part in November's Clean up the World weekend.
More than 35 million people in about 120 countries took part in the environmental campaign last year.
"We urge groups, organisations, schools and businesses in Dubai to unite … at a local level to address global environmental issues," said Abdul Majeed
Saifaie, the director of the waste management department at Dubai Municipality.
