Al Ain launches pest control project for palms and fruit trees

The project uses the latest pest-control techniques and equipment, and has minimal environmental impact.

Al Ain Municipality recently launched a project to combat palm and fruit tree pests, which in turn includes measures to combat agricultural pests that attack fruit and palm trees, as a new addition to the agricultural environment in Al Ain and in response to requests from residents. The project uses the latest pest control techniques in the field of pesticides and equipment in order to promote environmental sustainability in Al Ain.

The project developed control and import programmes for the latest equipment to spray pesticides efficiently with minimal environmental impact. The project offers palm tree and fruit tree pest control services, with over 3,654,338 trees treated to date since the start of the project.
