Abu Dhabi quality council to open environmental testing lab

The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council has opened an environmental testing lab.

ABU DHABI // A new hi-tech environmental laboratory that can test for harmful substances and pollutants has been launched in the capital.

The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council has opened the facility within its Central Testing Lab.

The lab will be operated by qualified Emirati professionals and is fitted with the latest equipment that can detect and analyse a range of substances.

The facility will provide marine water quality testing and set up baseline data for marine, air and terrestrial environments.

In addition, it will serve as a technical hub for environmental researchers and university students in Abu Dhabi.
