DUBAI // Barclays Premier League football matches will now be broadcast locally, live on radio and online.

Arabian Radio Network (ARN) has won exclusive rights to cover all matches on its station Dubai Eye 103.8.

"Football in the UAE has an enormous following and the Premier League has significant support across the Emirates," said Mahmoud Al Rasheed, general manager of ARN.

"We will also be updating listeners on developments in the local UAE league."

The first match to be covered will be Crystal Palace v Sunderland, starting at 8pm on Saturday.

All commentary comes live from the grounds and Dubai Eye will cover three games per week on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
