Police believe a woman found dead in Sharjah on Thursday was murdered.
Rashid Ali Al Omrani, General Attorney of Sharjah Prosecution, said the body, found in Industrial Area 18, belonged to an Emirati woman aged 45 who lived in another emirate.
He said investigators were not sure whether the murder took place in her home emirate, or whether she was murdered in Sharjah.
The body has been referred to the Sharjah Police’s criminal laboratory to determine cause of death.
