A 43-year-old Emirati woman has died following a car accident between Dubai and Fujairah.
The woman, identified as Amal Al Tunaiji, was driving along Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed road on Friday when her vehicle swerved off the road and flipped onto its roof.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene and Ms Al Tunaiji was rushed to Fujairah hospital with severe injuries.
Doctors were unable to save her and she was pronounced dead just a few hours later. She was buried on Saturday at Al Gurfa cemetery after Al Fajr prayers.
