An Emirati man died in hospital on Monday after being involved in a car accident in Ras Al Khaimah the day before.
Capt Ibrahim Al Mazrouei, director of the traffic and patrols department at RAK’s Al Daqdaqa Police station, said they received a report of the accident at 9.30pm.
He said the 25-year-old man was speeding along an internal road in the emirate when he suddenly swerved which caused his car to flip several times.
An ambulance rushed the man to hospital and on Monday he succumbed to his injuries.
Capt Al Mazrouei called on motorists to comply with traffic regulations and to keep to speed limits.
