An Emirati man was airlifted to hospital after sustaining critical injuries in a horrific car crash in Ras Al Khaimah's Al Menai area.
The man - whose age and extent of injuries were not dislocated - had been airlifted to Al Fujairah hospital.
A video clip posted by the Ministry of Interior's air wing on its official Instagram account showed tailbacks behind an overturned car on the side of the road.
Traffic patrols from Ras Al Khaimah police and national emergency teams present at the scene were attending to another man who suffered injuries before being taken to hospital.
