Emirati hospital provides free treatment to 60,000 Egyptians

About 60,000 children and elderly have recently received free of charge treatment in Egypt through the Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile hospital.

DUBAI // About 60,000 children and elderly have recently received free of charge treatment in Egypt through the Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile hospital.

The field hospital which is part of the Zayed Giving initiative launched in 2003, currently has a team of doctors from the UAE, Egypt and France to provide medical aid for needy children and elderly in many of Egypt’s villages.

The hospital has also carried out 30 heart surgeries and more are expected to be carried out by the initiative in the first week of September.
