According to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, seven new schools are due to open by the start of the next academic year, offering pupils an additional 17,700 seats. Seven more will open in the academic year 2015-2016, making room for about 10,000 more pupils.
This year already saw the opening of 10 schools which made room for 22,070 pupils in Dubai.
