DUBAI // Al Jalila Foundation has launched an international scholarship programme with Harvard Medical School.

The Dubai philanthropic group will sponsor a scholarship programme for the master of medical sciences degree in global health delivery. The two-year degree is a post-graduate training programme focused on healthcare delivery and optimising treatment outcomes.

In the programme, the degree curriculum is followed by a nine-month mentored research project in the UAE.

“We are pleased to partner with Harvard Medical School for our first international scholarship. Harvard Medical School has been synonymous with excellence in education, research and clinical care for generations,” said Dr Abdulkareem Al Olama, chief executive of the foundation.
