The American University of Sharjah will be adding space science technologies to its curriculum after partnering with the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre.
On Sunday, they agreed to jointly develop educational and training programmes in space science and satellite technology.
The programme will be one of the first of its kind offered in the country.
Masdar Institute’s master’s degree in advanced space science and New York University Abu Dhabi’s Centre for Space Science also address skills for the new frontier.
