ABU DHABI// Young bookworms have been handed Dh3 million of vouchers to spend at this year's Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

The book vouchers were granted by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and chairman of the Abu Dhabi Education Council.

The Dh50 vouchers have been distributed across universities and schools and are available to students and pupils who visit the fair, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

The fair's move to assist younger readers comes in tandem with Adec's month-long Abu Dhabi Reads Campaign held across the emirate targeting kindergarten and Cycle 1 pupils.
