Duo arrested in RAK over 110,000 tramadol pills
RAS AL KHAIMAH // Two men have been arrested in possession of almost 110,000 tramadol tablets.
RAK Police were tipped off about the Asian men, who were said to be looking to sell the 109,780 pills.
Col Adnan Ali Al Zaabi, director of Drug Control Department at RAK Police, said that a team was formed to monitor the suspects’ movements and later they raided a house, where one arrest was made.
During initial questioning, the first suspect admitted that he had illegal drugs hidden up a mountain near his house and that the drugs were owned by another man, who was also arrested.
Police tracked down the hidden drugs and a report was sent to prosecutors to bring charges against the men.
