DUBAI // The Roads and Transport Authority has released public transport schedules and paid parking timings for Ramadan.

Motorists will have to pay for parking in Zones A, B, C, D and G between 8am and 5pm and again from 7pm to midnight from Saturday to Thursday.

Parking must be paid in Dubai Silicon Oasis (Zone H) from Saturday to Thursday between 8am to 10pm, and between 8am to 6pm at Tecom (Zone F).

Parking will be free for all Zones — except Zone E — from 12.01am on Fridays until 7.59am on Saturdays.

At the Fish Market (Zone E) tariffs must be paid from 8am to 11pm daily.

Changes to parking and public transport in Abu Dhabi during Ramadan

Public bus main stations, like Gold Souq Station, will open from 4.25am to midnight and Al Ghubaiba Station from 4.30am to midnight.

Subsidiary stations — like Al Satwa — will open from 4.57am to 11.35pm, and Route C01 will operate round the clock at Satwa.

Al Qusais Station will open from 4.30am to midnight, Al Quoz Industrial Station from 5am to 11.30pm, and Jebel Ali Station will operate from 5am to midnight.

Metro Link bus stations — including Al Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa-Dubai Mall, Abu Hail and Etisalat — will open from 5am to 12:20am. All Metro Link buses will match the timings of the metro service.

For Dubai Metro services, the Red Line stations will run from 5.30am to midnight from Saturday to Wednesday, from 5.30am to 1am on Thursday and from 10am to 1am on Friday.

Timings for the Express Metro service will remain unchanged during the holy month.

Green Line stations will operate from 5.50am to midnight from Saturday to Wednesday. On Thursday, stations will be open from 5.50am to 1am and on Friday from 10am to 1am.

The Dubai Tram will operate from Saturday to Thursday from 6.30am to 1am, and on Friday from 9am to 1am.
