Dubai Municipality outline preparations for Eid Al Adha
Dubai// Preparations for next week’s Eid Al Adha celebrations have been completed, with Dubai Municipality drawing up detailed plans to provide services to the public during the holidays.
Rigorous food control measures have been put in place to ensure food safety, said Sultan Ali Tahir, head of food inspection.
“The foodstuffs that can be easily contaminated in the hot climate are put under strict check,” he said.
“The department’s inspectors will be concentrating more on the areas where increased activities are witnessed during the Eid holidays. Traditional kitchens are also coming under constant check these days.”
The Eid Musallahs (mosques) and public areas will be cleaned and swimming pools in different parks have been renovated. The civic body, in coordination with the Civil Defence, is also on alert to tackle any fires.
