The Dubai Metro was back on track on Monday afternoon after a fault caused a section to close around midday, the Roads and Transport Authority said on Monday.
Officials said the section between ADCB and First Gulf Bank Metro was affected shortly after midday.
Shortly after 2pm the RTA said the service was moving again.

Replacement bus services were on hand to pick up passengers and pictures on social media showed queues outside Noor Bank Metro Station.
