Owners of unregistered jet skis and other watercraft have until February 15 to apply for a licence with the Dubai Maritime City Authority.
The body will launch a campaign on Saturday encouraging owners of personal water vehicles to register them by filling out the necessary documents and taking the craft to their headquarters.
The campaign aims to regulate the use of jet skis, improve marine safety and regulate water sports in the emirate.
The efforts follow other measures introduced this year, including creating dedicated areas for jet skiing.
