DUBAI // An underwater show choreographed by the former head coach of US Olympic synchronized swim team has been drawing large crowds to the Dubai Mall's aquarium.
The show by Stephan Miermont, who was also the main character in Cirque du Soleil's 'O' show for five years, features divers dressed as mermaids and mermen cavorting in the mall's 10-million litre Dubai Aquarium tank. The rest of the cast is made up of a 140 species of aquatic animals, including over 400 sharks and rays.
The show will continue until September 7 with three performances a day at 5pm, 7pm and 9pm.
