Vehicles parked in unpaved and sandy areas in Abu Dhabi will face an immediate Dh500 fine and towing, the Department of Transport said yesterday.
The restrictions aim to encourage motorists to use dedicated Mawaqif parking spaces, while protecting the unpaved areas.
