Taxi licence owners in Abu Dhabi can sell their licences for Dh100,000 starting next year in February, TransAD announced yesterday.
Taxi licence owners receive Dh1,000 monthly as compensation for phased out gold-and-white taxis.
This payment will be forfeit if the licence is sold.
