DUBAI // A founding member of Depeche Mode will perform as a DJ in Dubai, it has been announced.
Andrew Fletcher, co-founder and bassist with the band, has added Trilogy nightclub, in Souk Madinat Jumeirah, to the list of venues he will stop at for his solo tour this spring.
He will perform on March 11, after playing several venues in Ukraine, Australia, Korea and China.
"I am really excited to be coming to a lot of the places that Depeche didn't get to visit on the last tour," he said in a posting on the band's website.
"I'm going to be playing a lot of new remixes, as well as many of my old favourites. I am looking forward to seeing you all soon."
Fletcher, known to fans as 'Fletch', is also a keyboardist who gave the band its sound in their 80s and 90s heyday.
