Drivers with traffic fines from Sharjah have until Wednesday to take advantage of a 50 per cent discount that has been applicable over the last four months.
Colonel Shawaf Abdulrahman, the director of the traffic and patrols department at Sharjah Police, said the deadline is fast approaching and motorists should pay their fines while they are still half price.
He added that a large percentage of pending fines have been settled in the last four months and that a report would be issued after the deadline to show the number of fines that remain unsettled.
