SHARJAH // The body of a Comoros island national has been found in a house in Al Ghafia, police have said.
The body was found on Monday after neighbours complained of a smell coming from the house next door.
Police said the man, believed to be in his 20s, had been dead for about three days and there were no signs of violence.
An investigation into the cause of the man’s death has been launched.
A spokesman said the body had been taken to the Sharjah Police forensic laboratory to help officers in their investigations.
