The long wait for the iPhone 5 for Apple fans in the UAE will soon be over as the best-selling smartphone is to go on sale here on Friday, December 14.
The California-based technology giant announced today that the UAE would be one of more than 50 markets that will receive the device this month.
The iPhone 5 went on sale in the US and other countries on September 21.
It was generally well received, though the new Maps app was widely condemned.
The latest iPhone will also go on on sale in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait , Bahrain and Qatar on December 14.
