DUBAI // A woman was arrested at Dubai International Airport after an inspection found more than one kilogram of cocaine hidden in her bra and underwear, a court heard today.
Inspectors stopped PJ, 30, from Thailand, on April 8 this year after growing suspicious at the size of her bust.
"I asked her to take off her top, she refused but then gave in and I found the drugs in her bra," recalled the policewoman MA, 29. The policewoman then checked the woman's underwear and found more of the drug, which had been hidden in plastic bags.
The woman arrived in the country from Brazil.
At the Criminal Court she confessed to smuggling drugs.
The next hearing will be on July 15 to appoint a defence lawyer for the defendant.
