Police in the Western Region have thanked their colleagues for making this year's Haj a success.
Col Ojail Ali Abdullah, the Western Region police chief, honoured representatives of government agencies and private bodies that helped ensure the pilgrimage went smoothly.
"This recognition is part of the Abu Dhabi Police General Command's strategy in fostering partnerships and collaboration with various organisations, in the spirit of social responsibility," Col Abdullah said.
Thousands of pilgrims go from or through the UAE into Saudi Arabia and back for Haj every year.
