Two men have been arrested over the murder of an Emirati man in his late teens last week.
A Dubai Police official said that the two men, both Gulf nationals, had beaten up the victim before stabbing him.
The victim’s body was found in a car parked in an abandoned area in Nad Al Hamr.
“The man’s body was discovered on Tuesday after police received a tip off," said the Dubai Police official.
"Police officers identified the victim and contacted his family who said he left home on Sunday and didn’t return."
An investigation led the police to the two suspects, the pair confessed to the crime after they were arrested.
It was revealed that the suspects had argued with the victim, who was said to be their friend, before beating him and stabbing him to death. They then left him in the car.
