DUBAI // A cleaner who distributed his contact numbers to flats in Al Rafaa area to earn work stole money from one of his employers and was sentenced to three months in prison this morning.

According to the charges sheet, the defendant, MH, 27, From Bangladesh, stole Dh5,800 from a bedroom drawer in the house of AA, an Indian housewife who hired him to clean her apartment once a day.

Records said he stole the money and turned off his mobile phone after the theft, then stopped coming to the victim’s house.
