DUBAI // Three men have been found not guilty of taking part in a drunken robbery, but guilty of drinking alcohol without a licence.
BM, AH and DA, all 29 and from Pakistan, were accused of breaking into an apartment in Muraqqabat in the early hours of July 8 last year and stealing Dh14,000 from its two inhabitants. One of the two men living at the apartment was said to have received knife injuries during the incident.
However, the Criminal Court cleared the three men of charges of assault and robbery, but sentenced them each to one month in prison on the charge of consuming alcohol without a licence.
