A sex worker reported her employers to police for not paying her any of the money she earned, Dubai Criminal Court was told.
On December 9 the 23-year-old Nepalese cleaner called police to report the two Indian men, aged 31 and 36.
Police were dispatched to the hotel in Al Rafaa where they found the woman drunk.
"She said that she used to work in Ras Al Khaimah but when she returned from her holiday she absconded," said a 57-year-old policeman.
He said the woman told them she then met the two men who helped her work as a dancer and prostitute in Dubai.
During police questioning the woman said she worked for them willingly.
"She said they gave her money from her work in prostitution only at the beginning then they stopped giving her any," the officer said.
Upon their arrest, the two men allegedly admitted to facilitating prostitution for the woman and charging customers between Dh1,000 to Dh1,500.
"But they both denied not giving her money. They said that after every time she had sex with a customer, they would hand her a certain amount," the policeman said.
In court on Monday, both men denied a charge of facilitating prostitution but the woman did not attend court to face a prostitution charge.
The next hearing is scheduled for February 27.
